I remember coming home one weekend and my mom had saved the newspaper article for me. She wasn't sure if I had known Lisa or not but saved it just in case. I just remember feeling shocked at the tragedy of it. I knew Lisa pretty well the first couple of years I was at Eagle's Landing but then over time and lack of the same classes we rarely talked. But when we'd pass each other in the hall she always said hello and smiled.
I remember hearing the story on the TV and I thought that is so sad and then when they said the name and I saw her picture, I felt like the wind had been knocked out of me. I could not beleive that something that had happend to someone that I knew. At the time I was working at LA Fitness in Morrow and I had went over to Home Depot a few weeks before this happend to get some keys cut and I had actually talked to Lisa. She will truly be missed and NEVER forgotten.
Lisa I met you in 7th grade and you were always the sweetest most careing person. You gave me a pare of earings once just because I said i liked them. On the day you died a gave your mom some white roses, I felt i had to do something to say goodbye and to also show your mom how loved you were.
One of my favorite memories of you was when me you and a couple other girls skipped school one day and I was driving my piece of crap red nissan sentra and you hid in the backseat and covered up with our backpacks so the golf cart man didnt see you! It was great.
Your are definitley missed and I think of you often.
I miss you so much. I remember hanging out in the neighborhood together. I remember when I found out. My little sister called me & asked me if I'd heard about the shooting. I told her yeah & she thought I knew who it was but, I didnt. She told me to sit down & then told me. I dropped the phone & just started crying. I will never forget you Lisa. Love you always
For all of you that knew our Lisa knew that she was an amazing person! I loved Lisa like my own sister, she was truly the best friend I EVER had. I miss her deeply, as the tears roll down my face, it still hurts as much today as it did the day she was taken from us. Her memory remains a highlight of my life. God bless Lisa, my "Sissy" as I called her, as your angel face looks down upon us know that we LOVE & MISS YOU DEARLY! There's no doubt in my mind that you have a special ticket to our reunion, I'm bringing you in my heart, just like you gave me your only extra ticket to the prom just so I could go even though I had left the school. Thank you to everyone for all your kind thoughts, she would be so appreciative. Love you always Sissy. XOXO Kimber
