Deborah Gilpin

I graduated from UWMadison in Psychology, and moved to Boston area. I lived with Kristin Scharf and we both married New England men. After 20 years there running children's and science museums I moved to Phoenix in 2003. I opened a new major children's museum in 2008. Kristen and I are still great friends! I returned to Madison in 2013 and am now Director of the Madison Children's Museum.

I was so sure that Jaci Allen used to spell her name this way, so I'm relieved to see I'm not crazy!

Remember when Mr. Olsen would crank up the classical music and it would play through the hallways!
