George lived in the same neighborhood as my family and developed a friendship with my parents years after high school. He often checked with them to see if there was an errand or a ride somewhere that would be a help to them. For many years he looked after their home when they were out of town and performed many acts of kindness for them and others who could benefit from his assistance. His thoughtfulness will not be forgotten.
