I was a classmate of Ernie from 1st grade at St. Colman in Turtle Creek until we graduated from Serra in 1965. During high school he used to cut my hair. He had learned to barber from his father. I have so many fond memories of hin and our 12 years in school together. Ernie was a warm and generous person. He was well liked by everyone. He laughed easily and made you laugh as well.
My wife and I and Armand and his wife and the Hudak girls had dinner together just a few months ago. We all loved Ernie and will miss him greatly.
