"Granville Grady Hargett, age 55, of Hendersonville, Tennessee passed away on February 6, 2007 in Tennessee. He was born on June 21, 1951, in McKinney, Texas to Gaines Lee “Percy” and Dolores (Young) Hargett. He married Sonya Rapp and was the general manager of a newspaper. He is survived by his wife Sonya; children Dusty Hargett, Jerrod Vaughn, Lance Hargett, LeAnne Vaughan, Julia Hargett and Nicole Hargett; five grandchildren; mother Dolores Hargett; brother Cash Hargett; and special friend who was like a daughter to him, Emily Hall. His father preceded him in death in 1999. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 10, 2007 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Bill Shaddox officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home at their convenience on Friday to pay their respects and to sign the register book. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6-8 PM on Friday evening."
