Margaret “Sister” Lynn Hancock, age 65, of McKinney, Texas, passed away January 13, 2016. Sister was born December 16, 1950, to Elmer and Stella (McAnally) Hudson. She worked at DLM in Allen for fifteen years and was a cafeteria manager at Boyd High School and Eddins Elementary in McKinney.

She is survived by her son, Jerry D. Hancock and wife, Jane of McKinney, Texas; daughter, Stacy Hancock, also of McKinney; grandchildren, Hunter Hancock of McKinney, Texas, Anna Lopez and husband, Ricky of Blue Ridge, Texas, Lucas Hancock and Matt Hancock, both of McKinney, Colton Duncan of Allen, Texas, and Justin Osteen, also of McKinney; great-grandchildren, Gabi, Kane, and Serenity; brother, Johnny Hudson and wife, Barbara of McKinney; sister, Shirley Burnside of McKinney; niece, Paula Burnside, also of McKinney; and numerous other loving relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Elmer Hudson, Jr., Gerald Hudson, Betty Burnside, Irene Pegram, Mark Hudson, and Doris Garcia.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 18, 2016, at Waddill Street Baptist Church in McKinney, Texas.
