Hi, all! I'm so sorry I fell out of touch. I guess when my parents moved out of McLean and I married a 2nd time, I inadvertently dropped off the radar. I logged onto Classmates once and they wanted me to buy membership in order to talk to anyone...which seemed sort of pushy.

What I've been up to...I think the last time I saw people was at the 10 yr reunion--after MBA and still happily married to the starter husband--Navy A-7 pilot. After Desert Storm, he had an epiphany that he wasn't all that interested in being married...it was just the expected thing to do. We divorced after 5 years, thankfully before ever trying to have a child. I was single for 7 years in Atlanta. Those were the crazy years of Healthcare startups in Staff Model Managed Care, Integrative Medicine and Practice Management. 80 hour work weeks and dreams of retiring at 40 on stock options. I came out to Colorado to open a branch of an integrative medicine center in 1998 and realized I was "home" in the mountains. I met John and we were married 18 months later. When Ryan was 9 months old, I "mommy tracked" back to physician recruiting. I just couldn't stand the travel and hours of healthcare business development. I was afraid I would be bored, but this sidestep was a huge GIFT. I work from home, travel 5%, and have 4 hospitals that I adore, for whom I recruit and contract physicians. The only downside is that it's a little isolating not being part of an office team, but I'm out for a few hours a day for meetings with practices and hospital adminstrations. Being at the bustop to meet my 2nd grader makes up for a lot, though! My husband John is also based from home. He survived the AIG debacle and his division was sold to another insurer. WHEW.

I remember one late summer party at Leigh Ann Adams house a few weeks before high school started. Everyone had been away and busy in August with family, camps, etc. and somehow that few weeks was the tipping point. We had all turned into TEENAGERS. The guys now had manly muscles and suddenly deeper voices..we girls had filled out and gotten braces off, contact lenses, etc. and went from cute to womanly
