Former Shawnee student, Matt Guilfoy and I had our first daughter, Julianna, in Feb 1998. Matt joined the Navy in 1999 and we were married in 2000 at Batsto Village. Jules and I moved down to VA, where Matt was and is stationed, in 2001. In Oct 2002, we welcomed daughter #2, Alyssa Marie, to the family. In May 2004, we bought a home and added a dog and cat to the mix. May 2006 rolled around and we had Madilyn Anne, daughter #3, come into our lives. In Spring 2008, we bought a larger home to fit what seems to be an ever going family. We always said, once we were all done our renovating projects in our first home, we would move on. We are both a bit burnt out on home remodeling and need a break. Matt has 9 years of military service now and is doing extremely well in his career; he was selected for Chief Petty Officer and recently got underway for another 1/2 year long deployment. I have a degree in psychology but am a work-at-home-mom (real estate asst) right now because hey, I can never get this time back with the children, right? Once the girls are older, I plan on going back and most likely, it will be in nursing. For now I cherish every milestone because I know it will all pass too quickly.
