I have hopped around the country in the pursuit of adventure! I went to Lewis and Clark College majoring in Chemistry and Biology. I took five years off -between college and medical school- and lived in Santa Cruz, California and Portland, Oregon. I then went to Mayo Medical School. After graduating, I headed straight "Down South" to thaw out in Texas. I completed an OB/GYN residency. I was Uncle Sam's property for 5 years with the Air Force (San Antonio, Texas) and then completed a 3 year fellowship in urogynecology and reconstructive surgery at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. Back to Texas to thaw out, where I have stayed. I am outside of Houston at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston. I did manage to marry and have children along the way.
I love to travel and capture life with a camera. I still run to stay sane and am trying to slow down the growth of my kids (I have been somewhat successful because they have remained short (genetics) but continue to leave the nest at an alarming rate). It least I have heard that they often return!
