Robin Lewellyn McCurdy, born February 9, 1963, left us on March 29, 2009. He resided in Orick for 19 years. He ran and created art for Originals by Wally in Orick, then later worked for California Redwood Co. He graduated from Medford Senior High in 1982.
He is survived by his wife Sally McCurdy; daughter Tara Holland of White City; Kalie Lilya of Phoenix, OR; Ashley, Robyn Lynn and Wallace (Wally) McCurdy from Orick; mother Donnis McCurdy-Melvin and husband Robbie of Klamath; brothers Rick McCurdy of Eagle Point, OR, Rodney McCurdy of Glendale, OR; sister Rhonda Dunn Carder of Lake Havasu, AZ; uncles Dennis McCurdy of Blue Lake and Tom Weeks of Reedsport, OR; 5 grandchildren, Isaha, Aiden, Alexa, Makenzie and Cloe.
He was preceded in death by his father Wallace (Wally) McCurdy.
Robin touched many lives.
Visitation will be at Sanders Funeral Home, 1835 E Street, Eureka on Thursday April 2, 2009, from noon to 5 p.m. and on Friday April 3, 2009, from 10 to 5 p.m. There will be a celebration of Robin’s life on Saturday April 4, 2009, at the community hall in Orick at 1 p.m. Any pictures would be greatly appreciated.
