Married Don Aug. 10, 1985. We have gone out since April 11, 1980. Yes, he is the goat roaper. Seriously, he is a wonderful man, a great provider, fabulous dad, and I wouldn't change a thing from our last 30 years together. He is my best friend and I love him dearly. We know we were incredibly fortunate to have found true love so early, but we fall in love more and more all the time. Ok-that's not to say life is always easy, but together we have made it thru a lot and he is definitely the man I want to walk the rest of my journies with.
We ride quads, camp, fish, hunt, play volleyball and enjoy family time. We have a great group of friends to hang out with.
I am incredibly blessed to have such wonderful high school friends. I tried hard to know most people in high school and managed to get into mid adult life with a lot of those friendships still intact.
I am an oncology nurse as my profession. I am able to help people thru some of the most difficult times in their lives. It is truly a priveledge to have this job. I have met some incredible people and watched some heroic people pass on. My patients have taught me way more that I think I have taught them. I work with a compassionate staff and a staff of providers who are some of the best this country has.
I also do screenprinting. This draws to my creative side. It is a nice home based business. Guches Ink has been in business since 2003.
My parents still live in the same house we grew up in. My sibblings all live in Medford. Our family birthday parties are kind of crazy. Some of my friends say we are similar to "My big Fat Greek Wedding", and I guess if that means we like to get together and enjoy food with lots of us present, well that does describe us.
Sports highlight of our time at SMHS: Winning a state Softball Title. The boys won the state Baseball title the same day.
I loved hanging out during T-time. It was fun to have my mom bring donuts and OJ for us to enjoy was fun too. I do miss those carefree days. Where our biggest worries were: what to do after practice or after school. Ahhh. We had a great group of students and I do love seeing everyone at the reunions.
