Patti did a great job on this web site. I will be mailing the elementary pictures to you. Also my brother Kevin remembers you Patti. Said you went all thru school together. Nice girl!! He said Hi!! Hope you had a nice flight home!!
I had been going to school in the area since I started at Rose Tree in the second grade and have known many of you for a bunch of years. I was a bit shocked by the names I saw in the In Memory portion of the web page. I had known Terry Hunter since the second grade.
I had known Roland Roberts passed away since his mother gave me a ride home from the airport in 1975. I was on leave from the Air Force during Christmas and she told me how her son had taken his own life. I could hear the pain in her voice. Roland was into sports, popular and not a bad sort of guy. I thought he would have had a lot to look to after high school. I like to think he would not have killed himself if he had known the pain it would have caused his mother and others that cared for him.
Does anyone know how some of our friends and classmates passed away and do you have a favorite memory of that person?
Jeff: I too was surprised at the names listed in the In Memory portion of the site. Roland grew up right up the street from me and I knew about him (and a few others), but the rest shocked me. Especially, Robin Glenn. She and I hung out together a lot in high school. She was always making funny faces and making me laugh! She got me into a lot of trouble in class!
