Hi everyone! I am not a computer person, am not on facebook but as the years progress and the body digresses, I have a sprained ankle, boo hoo, ya never know. I love to turn my computer on and see that someone has thought of me and will respond. Eric and Patti, you did a great thing! People have been in contact with me that I've wondered about for years. Mark O'Brian has seen Don and Don Waterbury and Camp. Missing compadres, in the LA area and I was also delighted to hear from Carol Hartmann, another unique member of our class. It just keeps growing!
As of me, for the 1st time in my life I am becoming a tai chi instructor, something I'll get payed for that I like. That is very life changing 4 me. Enjoy the Holidays! WE need them more than ever. Less gifts, more love. Debbie Hampton Bailey

Hi Debbie,
Congrats on the new career! Glad to hear you've been able to reconnect with some from the class. Its always the comment when someone finally discovers this site,'this is such a blast and I wish I'd discovered it sooner".

To Connie G.
Always makes me glad to see a new entry on the forum too.

Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Hi Eric,

Nice Holiday theme for the web page! It reminded me of those great stained glass windows in the front hallway at Penncrest. Does anyone have color photos of those windows? That is still one of my favorite memories of Penncrest.

Hi Glenda..
Love CO... good for you. moms cousins & one of my best friends live in Evergreen, w of Denver.
needless to say that i been around the block.. & back...including all 50 states (except AK.
above all, one of the best places i have ever been is within walking distance from Downtown Media & that place is . :: Hedgerow Theater.
Stopped in there on a Sat eve Halloween time to see "Tales of Edgar Allen Poe" ,of course it wasnt playing. sat in the lobby-coffee/tea room deciding whether to leave or stay. "Dial M for Murder" was about to begin. Glad I stayed. Nestled in the tall trees of Rose Valley, small, cozy, old stone interior walls . comfortable seating, ambient lighting, & the greatest of players. A real piece of History.
Not sure if they have shows then . the main season is fall through I think March. either way check it out when you arrive in April or next trip here. bring some coors light w/u

Say hello to Juli, tell her i've pictured her w/ head back against the headrest, a warm smile,. looking out the window of the Airliner on her way home from the reunion.

Joe and I heard Michael Favinger play tonight at the Boat House in Media. He is still AMAZING! Saw Dean Keyes there. I remember Mike as the first person at Indian Lane to wear bellbottoms. He is back and playing in the Media area. Check out his website at www.michaelfavinger.com.

I will check out Micheal.  Very unique person, lots of self esteem.  This will be interesting.  Had to go to Media last month for family reasons.  Unfortunetly  that is usually the case.  Always fun to be with "The Chief",  he's so fun.  Imagine after all these years and he's my fave to see.

We were at the Court Diner and saw Tom Jones, not hard to miss Tom, good to see ya.  Saw my friend Linda Ferguson, still as sweet as ever but Kathy's right, she needs to get out more.  Life is short.  I was wondering, why did so many of us gravitate towards a shoreline?

GLENDA!  We may have been in media at the same time.   Family care takes up most of my time.  Wish I had looked this over earlier.  Life is busy 4 me now, I'm trying to start a business with rehabilitative Tai Chi, people with limited mobility's (growing field).  Pat and Bill had some good ideas, it's always nice to see Jimmy, nice guy.  Try the boathouse too, my sister goes there.  I think Patty Boyd is the hostess, still as gorgeous as ever.

Joe and I just got back from graduation at William and Mary - our daughter Alex graduated. We ran into Wendy Fradley there - her daughter was also graduating - I posted a picture of Wendy and her family on my Profile Page. Also ran into Lynn Thompson ('76) - her daughter Kriistin was also graduating, and was a TriDelta with our daughter.

Hello All,

Sadly we've added another name to the "In Memory" page. Paul Bockno passed away last week.

I think most of us remember Paul's iconic moment in the cafeteria dancing on a table and doing his Elvis impersonation before being escorted to Lou Scotts office. Kinda doubt Mr. Scott was looking to book Paul on the Ed Sullivan Show.

I'm pretty sure all of us that wittnessed that event smile at the memory of it.

Rest well Paul, hope your life was a good one.

I missed Paul's Elvis impersonation. That sounds like fun. I am sorry I missed it. Was that in the last few days of school? I always thought of Paul as sort of a quiet guy. I quess he must have also had a wild side. It just shows how wrong you can be about someone.

Need your help-PLEASE!!

I'm hoping some of you who read this will be able to help....Some Penncrest grads and I are trying to get the word out to everyone in our class concerning one of our classmates. Since we don't have a reunion for a while, many people will not be looking at the website.  How can I send a message to everyone in the class without doing it individually...like the e-mail you get when you have a message on facebook?   A techno babe I am not!!  Thanks!!!  Sue Booth Jacobs

Hey Sue - send Eric Brown an email at ebrown4883@aol.com. His wife Patti maintains this website and should be able to help. Also, a number of us are on Facebook - probably at least 30, maybe more. I can send a message through there for you that will reach those people. Just let me know. My personal email address is cgilday@itrsoft.com. A number of us have been following David Weaver's fight with colon cancer on Facebook.  --Connie

I finally got around to checking out the reunion photos ... nice!

Also, as promised (two years ago) a copy of the Edgment Elementary 1966 class photo:

I know I've got the other years around here somewhere.

Also, while on the beach in Cape May in 2009 I ran into a good photo-op where a gull landed on a lifeguard:

After talking to him for a while it turns out he's Mr. Heinley's son-in-law ... small world!

Anyone who wants these pictures to post on this site or whatever, please  feel free to do so.

Our classmate, Dave Weaver, passed away this morning after battling colorectal cancer for the past year. Many of us have followed his journey on Facebook, and he was an inspiration to me.
