Bruce and Steve you both nailed it regarding Rich! What a great person in every way. He was a great offensive tackle on our football team that we could always depend on. We ran most of our plays to his side of the line as a matter of fact. However, he was a gentle giant.... I recall Rich being far too nice in our senior Haverford game. Gave him a little nudge and he was back to being the beast blocker that he was. It was a honor to be considered one of his friends! R.I.P. Rich.

Recently the "Core 4" senior starters from 1969 BB team, Gene Armstead, Dan Tarr, Jim Culbertson and John Cunningham presented Penncrest a banner reflecting the best record ever for Penncrest High School basketball.... 25 - 1.
The team won the Central league title, as well as the District One title and
maintained an undefeated record until the Eastern Regional finals when they lost their first game and completed their season 4th in the state. Their Head coach was Bob Waslick. In addition, the previous year they won the Central league title and finished with a record of 21 -3.
The team was honored in 2019 at the DELCO Hall of Fame ceremony as well as the Media Area Sports Hall of Fame.
Many over the years throughout the state have said that this team was one of the best ever.
