Melbourne High Boys win back to back State Soccer Titles

Melbourne wins the Class 5A Boys Soccer championship. Melbourne Bulldogs boys soccer team pulls off a 4-1 win over Seminole in the 5A state championship. After trailing Seminole 1-0 at halftime the Bulldogs wanted to start the second half strong. Melbourne's leading scorer Ryan Price got two field goals in the first five minutes of the second half as the Bulldogs completed the 4-1 win for the championship.

Melbourne High Girls Champs Again with back to back State Soccer Titles

Melbourne wins the Class 5A Girls Soccer championship. Melbourne's Kristin Grubka sent the deciding header into the net in the second minute of overtime as the Bulldogs captured the Class 5A girls soccer state championship on Saturday with a 2-1 win against Seminole. Mel Hi Crew Wins Regatta!

November 14, 2009 The Melbourne High crew team won a regatta for the first time in its 31 year history. The Bulldogs finished first in the 13th annual Head of the South Regatta on the Savannah River in Augusta, Ga.  Melbourne finished first in the Junior Division with 151 points. More than 400 boats from 51 clubs and 10 states competed.

"This is a huge accomplishment and a great honor for our school and organization," Melbourne coach Matt Kaminski said. "We have enjoyed the challenge of getting to this level and look forward to the greater challenges that we will now face. This is a great venue with a great course and great competition. To come away with any medal at an event like this is great.
