Q: Here’s what your $65 for the weekend gets you?
A: You’ll obviously reminisce and create new memories with friends and acquaintances you’ve know for 30 plus years. Can you believe it?
But you’ll also have time with friends on Friday night at our informal gathering, then great burgers and dogs, and fun at the Saturday picnic…and of course, a great meal in the ballroom of Crown Plaza Hotel.
Your volunteers have negotiated the best deals possible for a great weekend experience. Some of the costs incurred include the food for the Saturday picnic and dinner, plus tips, rental of ballroom, audio visual rental, DJ, this website, and others. If we had worked with an event management company it would have cost about $110 per person.
This is a unique event that comes around one time every 10 years. You are worth it. Treat yourself to a great weekend.
Q: Can I pay for only part of the weekend?
A: Sorry, in order to cover our overall costs, we have to bundle the weekend into a package. You certainly may choose not to attend the picnic, but the price is for the entire weekend.
Q: Why are you charging an additional $10 for registrations after April 30?
A: We need to do everything we can to encourage early registration. Early registrations allow us to know what kind of budget we have to work with. The more we have registered early, the easier for us to plan.
Q: Can I get a refund?
A: We will be able to do refunds only if requested by July 1. Any requests after that will not be honored. Of course, you can transfer your registration to anyone, but you must email Steve Meyer to notify him of changes. If you do need to cancel, please consider donating those funds to help us break even for this event.
Q: I’d like to volunteer. How can I help?
We will need lots of help during the weekend, and even more help getting the word out prior to the weekend. Please email us by clicking the CONTACT US link (left column) – and we’ll help find a place for you. If you are a person who would be willing to track down names of classmates using search engines, please let us know. We need someone dedicated to digging in and researching lost classmates.
Q: I have a question not answered here. Who do I contact?
A: Just click the CONTACT US link (left column) and we’ll try to answer it promptly – but remember, we’re volunteers and it may not be immediate.
