Wow, it's our 30 year class reunion. I can still remember getting ready for graduation and wearing that ugly dress!!

The Class of 78 was the BEST!!

I truly am finding it tough this time knowing how many classmates and friends we have lost already. Time and life is very precious.

I am now back living on my family farm, where I grew up. My kids Dana, Britney and I moved out to the farm to live with my Mom after my Dad passed away six years ago. I love living on the farm again.

Do you remember how horse crazy I was in school... well, I decided to build another fence, tin the roof of my barn and buy two horses. Unfortunately it was when hay was at a shortage, and very expensive and the well went dry, so the horses stayed for only a year. I guess I tried but it was too expensive so I had to sell them.

Dana is now 22 years old and has finished four years at the University of Saskatchewan, with an Honor Degree in Archeology. Mom and I are very excited to go to his graduation in October. He has decided to take a break from school for a year and go back then to get his Masters. He loves traveling and music, doesn't miss a concert in Saskatoon!

Britney is 21 years old and has just started school in Yorkton. She's upgrading some classes in Grade 12 and then plans to take her degree in Social Work. She has moved five times in the last year so I hope this is her time to plant her feet!!

I am still at the Melfort Co-op, it's been 9 1/2 years! I enjoy working with the public, quite often I get to visit my long time friends that are home or passing through. I also enjoy talking with your parents!!! They keep me informed on what's going on with you!

Hope to see everyone in October, so we can visit in person, and get lots of hugs!!! I don't have a computer so that's why you haven't seen me on.

mavis riding her gorgeous Morab gelding Buddi whom she loved and adored in the Melfort Parade as the Pony Express. My wonderful parents bought me him in British Columbia and he was the best horse I ever had!!!!!!!

Blaze and I riding in the pines north of the farm, our usual weekend ride leaving at 8:00 a.m. and returning 9:00 p.m. Those were the good ol' days...no stress!!!!! And my pal Sandy our dog always came along. My lunch is in my "bunny hug" and this photo was on a calendar for the Melfort Journal so I can say I was a pinup calendar girl!!!!! (with clothes on!!!!)

These are two photos from our Grade 12 Canoe Trip which was a blast. We stopped at a few spots and the sand flies were bad. I'll never forget when Holly and Lindsay hit the big rock in the middle of the Saskatchewan River!!! It was really funny. Also I remember canoeing with Lyle and he had to take a whiz and he was scared I was going to peek!!!!! Tee Hee!!!!
