Dennis,

I checked out a few websites for "how-to" set up the event.

This one school has an event (golf scramble) every year and they register online (Very nice)

The Melvindale alumni club has an outing every year. I wonder if we would just want to piggyback with them or set up our own. It's not that hard to do. The only issue I've had in the past is people not paying on time. I'm not in any position to pay up front for people. (unless I win the lottery then the whole thing is on me)
If people show enough interest we'll see how it goes.

Is there any info online? Where can I find out about it??
Email me, I have to go get ready now (more shopping with the baby.) Why do children go so fast, and so large?

I think Jimmy Sauve runs it. At least he used to. Derek Johnson and I were taklking a couple years back and he asked me if I wanted to get a foursome together.

Sounds good. Let everyone know that the course I have chosen doesn't have a windmill but it has a really cool pirate ship with a cannon that sounds authentic.
I may be able to haggle with the owner to get reduced prices on the go-carts.

Hello everyone,

I wanted to share with all of you that Terry's mom has passed away today.

Terry is going to call me later tonight with funeral home arrangements. I will post them tonight.

Please keep Terry and her family in your prayers.

Lesley Barton (Zielinski)

Thanks for letting us know about Terry's mom, Steph. Unfortunately I don't think I'll be in town for the visitation/funeral, but let me know where & when it will be.

Dennis, count me in on the golf outing list.

WOW
I just viewed the pictures from the reunion it looked like everyone had a great time. Some haven't changed too much and some a lot. Still everyone looked great.

Maybe, just maybe I will make the next planned event. Please keep the information coming on the message forum, I read it every few days. If things work out and I can make the trip I would love to golf.

Well again sorry I missed such a good time, and can not wait to be done with the Marines and come home and spend some time with you all.

Golfing sounds great- keep everyone posted on the when & where & how to sign up! Hopefully Jerry can make it home from the Marines for a weekend.

Gang,
As you all know the Marines have me pretty much on lock down, I have a plan. You all rent one big bus and bring all your happy asses to Missouri for a weekend. Lots to Casinos, water parks, golf courses, BARS, and most of all ME..... It's only a 12 hour drive, and with all those skillfulled drivers that came out of Melevindale High's driving school, it should be no problem. I'll leave the light on.

Jerry, Since the excitement of the reunion, we have all been acting a bit crazy and immature so you might want to be careful putting ideas in our heads. I do have a friend who drives and has access to Melvindale School buses - long and short ones. Someone call Will Ferrell...I have a great idea for a movie plot! :)

Hey everyone, Jerry just said we could crash at his house. Sweet, just like old times.

12/09/08 08:07 PM #491

Gerald Szandzik (Clifford)

Yes sweet old times, I have a lot of room at my house and everyone is invited.

Remember when we would skip school on Thursdays and party at my house while my parents were at work.

You know it's bad when you spend 20 minutes looking for the coffee mug you set down....still missing.

12/10/08 09:00 AM #496

Julia Gambrell

Found it-hall closet shelf, of course I just poured a new mug.

see people, flexing your work schedule isn't always a good thing when you're only getting 5 hrs of sleep.

Had a blast with all who came up to watch Adam play tonight. They were awesome. He sent his thanks. He really appreciated the support. Check his schedule out on Toils myspace page. http://www.myspace.com/toilmetal If you are into music like Iron Maiden, Adams other band is called Powerslave. You can link to it from his Toil page.

Julia, Wish you could have made it. Since you couldnt we went to visit your sister instead. :)

On a serious note. I will include all of you old friends who are out of work in my prayers. I feel awful that every time we get together I find out more of you have lost jobs.

Jeneine Elkins (Ballard)

For all you fantastic classmates that made it out with us to the White Rhino Wednesday night....YOU ROCK! I posted the pics on myspace.com/jeneine See you all soon.

Oh and Jennifer, I agree we are the coolest.

Does anyone know why my head is throbbing? It's tough drinking like we are teenagers, 20 years later.

I had a good time last night.(I think)

I just came up with a new term for our job situations, we can call it "extended vacation". Sounds a bit more pleasant.

12/11/08 11:37 AM #501

Jennifer Reddig

I have no idea Dennis. Did you get wacked in the head with a frying pan when you got home ? Good luck on your final. You need to get that internet card so you can strike up a relationship with Marvin.

It isnt drinking that gets me...its the lack of sleep. I need more than 4 hours, especially before working a 12 hour shift. My head only hurts because Stacey hit me in it. :)

We can add your new term to the plot of my movie. A group of old high school friends who are stuck in the 80s and currently on "extended vacations" borrow school buses and take a road trip to see an old friend and reap havoc on a Missouri military town...

I just want everyone to know I wasn't drunk when I fell in the parking lot. I just tripped and lost my balance.
It was alot of fun last night. Just very tired. Let's keep this reunion going.

Ok 2pm I am up. Bet my mom wants me to come get the kids. I had a strange dream last night. There was table dancing, loud music, wet willies, and some falling, Tammy was in it SLURRING her words, and a lot of hugging...lol Hope everyone got home alright. Thank goodness Tammy had a ride home. Guys it was GREAT you all made it out. We will keep inviting all of you until all of you come out. Class of 88 are still party animals.
