No I didn't take my wifes last name when I got married. Not all of you know this but my real father's last name was Clifford. So once I desided to get married and have children I wanted them to take my real blood name. That's all there is to it. My mom married Szandzik when I was a baby and he adopted me and gave me his name, but when I was 8 Szandzik died. Then when I was about 10 my real father re-married my mom, so I was pretty much was raise by Clifford, so when I changed my name back to Clifford, it was for him as much as for me. If you ever came by my house and saw a real old red headed man that was Clifford not Szandzik. He passed away back in June of 07, so now that I have a son who can keep the name going, I couldn't be happier with my decission to change my name back. I hope this paints a good enough picture for everyone.
