I went and graduated from Tennessee State University in Nashville, Tenn. After graduation I moved to Daytona Beach, Fla to work for the Daytona Beach News Journal as a copy editor until the paper was taken by a larger news outlet. When I moved back to Tennessee, I enrolled in grad school to strengthen my writing skill. Much to my surprise, I liked teaching as much as writing. Since graduating from TSU a second time with a master's, I've been blessed to do both... now all I need to do is figure out how to get rich doing it. :)
