Chanin Provost Slisz

I sure have missed everyone! I moved to Heber Springs, Arkansas right after graduation. I attended Arkansas State University (one heck of a party at my father's expense) in Jonesboro and then transferred to University of Arkansas at Little Rock and graduated with a degree in Computer Science. I married the first time in 1992 and had my son Christopher, who is 14 now. I divorced in 1997 and remarried in 1999 to Casey and had my daughter, Dani, who is 6 going on 21. I am a cancer survivor and have been in remission for 14 years. I was given a year to live when my son was 6 weeks old and decided to fight like hell and here I am, still holding 14 years later. I feel like I have accomplished a lot of obstacles in my life and I feel that I am a true survivor. I thank God for every thing and for giving me the opportunity to see another day.

I remember going to one of the Father/Daughter Dances and Sister Gaberiella walking around trying to find a Dad to dance with and my Dad took off and hid in the bathroom! I also remember leading the senior song "You've got a friend"....I will never forget that.
