I have the funniest story about Walley from High School! Wally went on a youth canoe trip with Broadway Baptist Church one summer. Somehow, the two of us got hooked up together to be partners canoeing down "White River" (I believe that was the name). We stayed in the water for about 50% of the time and about 50% of the time in the boat. I had never been in a canoe before, so I did not know what to do. That was not good news for Walley, needless to say! I tell you what...we had the best time that day! I will never forget it.
