We "retired" and moved to South Carolina. We found a small home near our daughter and her family about 30 minutes from Charlotte. It's a wonderful spot 3 hours to the ocean (my favorite) and 2 hours to the mountains (Mike's favorite). We've spent the summer exploring the area and enjoying time spent with family. I even found a dragon boat team nearby and spent the summer paddling. The best part is now below zero temps!!!!

Sad news indeed. I've been trying to think of what to say and it's been difficult. Carol was one of the first friends I made way back in 3rd grade at Garlough when I started there. We made some wonderful memories over the years even though we didn't see much of each other after high school. You always made me laugh and we shared some good memories and shennanigans. Until we meet again.....
