Steamboat Springs resident William “Albe” R. Alberts passed away peacefully Dec. 19, 2006, surrounded by family and friends in Steamboat.

He was born Oct. 15, 1952. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Alberts, survived by his father, Robert Alberts of St. Paul, Minn; sisters, Bonnie Alberts of Chicago and Nicole Runge and her husband Thomas of St. Croix Beach, Minn.; and his favorite nephew, Jack Runge.

A celebration of life will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Jan. 7, at the Old Town Pub and Restaurant in Steamboat Springs.
