wow. i'm shocked. i've known doug, michelle, and cathy since we were in grade school together at st. mary's! does anyone know what happened?Catherine Ludwig
Our brother left us suddenly on Saturday. Your thoughts and prayers are appreciated and we would love to read anything you remember about Doug - I know there are ALOT of stories. It has been a rough patch for our family losing our Mom, Dad and older brother, Brian in the past few years and now this ... so, if I can say I've learned anything throughout all of this, act kindly, love strongly and hold on to life - it is fragile and precious.

Cathy/MichelleI am sorry to hear about Doug. My condolences to you and your family.
I think the three of you followed my track through the Mentor Schools...St. Mary's to Memorial and finally Mentor High. It seems like yesterday we were all riding the bus to and from St. Mary's. Oh the fond times of being berated by the nuns and Father Smith!
Take care and God Bless.

Cathy and Michelle..I'm very sorry to hear of all the loses you have suffered, life seems to be very cruel... Doug and I weren't real close but we did share many mutual friends and did hang out years ago... I was upset to hear the news...
Peace-

Cathy & Michelle~Its Trina~I am so very sorry too hear about Doug's passing. You are correct, life is precious and too short. Seems like yesterday we were all hanging out listening to the Cure! Doug was always such a goof and always a blast to be around. My thoughts and prayers are with your family~may you find strength in each other.
Much love my friends~ Trina

Here's what I remember most - Doug in the back of my old Chevy van, sitting on the godforsaken old Harvest Gold sofa and cackling with joy as we went over that one really really steep railroad crossing at dangerous speeds.Rest well, Doug.
