Albert F. Bower, Jr.
Albert F. Bower Jr., 72, of Middletown, died unexpectedly at home on June 12. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Carol D. Bower. A proud husband, stepfather and friend, he applied his abstract sense of humor wherever he went. Al was a mental health worker at CVH until he retired in 2006. Albert served in the USAF during the 2nd phase of the TET offensive during the Vietnam conflict, helping wounded troops while stationed in the Philippines. He loved writing short stories and vacationing in his favorite place, Lake George, NY. A service will be held at the Middletown VA Cemetery at a date TBD.
