
Henry P. Macala, 70, died on Sunday, Dec. 24, 2017 at Westfield Rehab after a short illness.
Born in Meriden on Nov. 26, 1947, he was the son of the late Henry Macala and Mary (Siebert) Macala. He had resided in Meriden and was a graduate of the University of New Haven. Mr. Macala was employed by Hitchner Manufacturing, retiring in 2009. He was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Church and a dedicated fan of Maloney Athletics.
He is survived by two daughters, Tracy Macala and Jaclyn Andrade and her husband, David; two grandchildren whom were his pride and joy, Tyler Andrade and Rayna Andrade; two brothers, William Macala and Larry Macala; and many nieces and nephews.
