
William J. “Billy” Williams Jr., of Middletown, beloved husband of Beth Gostyla Williams, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday July 13, 2013 at Hartford Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
Bill was born in Meriden, August 20, 1947, a son of the late William J. Williams Sr. and Loraine Howard Williams. Bill served an enlistment in the National Guard and was the owner and operator of Williams Private Sanitation in Meriden for over 45 years.
In addition to his wife Beth, he is survived by his son, Christopher Williams of Thomaston, his two daughters Lee McMillan of Georgetown, MA and Jonie McMillan of Middletown; his four legged companions, Whiskey, Tootsie, Chestnut and Itsy Bitsy; his sister Laurel Neal of Middletown; and his brother James Williams and his wife Dolores of Meriden; and several nieces and nephews.

Billy was my best friend in high school and we continued to be close until the time of his death nearly two years ago. Billy was truly one of the good guys who would literally give you the shirt off of his back.He was a great friend and great person.
