I took early retirement from my dream job as a rare book librarian in 2016 to move from Encinitas, Ca. to Show Low, Az. to take care of my mom. I love it here in the White Mountains. After 28 years of being single, I surprised everyone by getting married three years ago to a wonderful man I met at my mother's small Episcopalian church. We share a love of books, history, archaeology, and our dog Evie. I continue to be deeply involved with yoga and meditation and run the White Mountain Meditation Circle based on the teachings of Yogananda. I visit my grandkids in Auburn, Ca. as often as possible. Jonathan, my older son, is an eco-hydrologist there. Josiah, my youngest, is a musician with a philosophy degree and a lot of optimism still living in Tucson.
