After graduation I moved to Lubbock where I studied Political Science and Sociology at Texas Tech. Immediately following graduation from Tech, I moved to Columbus, Ohio where I worked on a Masters of Political Science while teaching at Ohio State. I met my wife at Ohio State where she was finishing up law school.
In December of '04, my wife received a job offer to work as an immigration attorney in Tampa, Florida. After moving to Tampa, I taught at St. Petersburg College for a year, then was hired as a market research statistician and consultant by the firm Schwartz Consulting Partners, Inc. While at Schwartz I managed consumer research projects for a number of clients, including Norwegian Cruise Line. My specialty, however, was QSR and casual/fine dining research.
After two years with Schwartz, I took a position as a Senior Analyst of Consumer Insights with HSN (Home Shopping Network). I manage a variety of research project for HSN, often meeting with and consulting company executives. I'm also the chief statistical consultant to the CRM (Customer Relationship Marketing) team.
My wife and I live in St. Pete and enjoy travel, fine dining, and sports. In the Summer of '08 I completed my first triathlon. My wife will be running the Florida Ironman in November '09. In March of '09 we spent two weeks traveling through Chile', including 5-days hiking the Andes mountains in the Patagonian National Forest. In addition to these things, I also love to fly - something I started my sophomore year in h/s. I co-own a small Cessna that I use to travel with throughout the southeastern US.
My wife and I were finally married in Sedona, AZ in September of '08. We have four cats, and a dog.
There's really only one story worthy of posting ... and it would have to be when a certain classmate (who shall remain unnamed here) approached me with the idea of setting off a smoke grenade in a bathroom on campus. I agreed to watch the door for him until he completed the task, but it was taking awhile, so I went on to the class we had 7th period. About 5-minutes later, said classmate opens the door and a wall of smoke immediately follows him in. His response was classic "Uh, Mr. Bullman ... I think someone's smoking in the bathroom".
He paid for that prank, but it was a good one. Just glad he didn't try it post-9/11
