Christina LaPoint Erve

After graduating from the University of North Texas with a degree in journalism, I worked for a short period at KXAS Channel 5 in Fort Worth. While working toward my degree I completed a teaching certification as well.

Throughout my ten years in education I have taught high school journalism and middle school language arts, beginning my first year in Mesquite ISD. I completed a Masters in Education with a specialization in reading from Southern Methodist University in 2008. I'm currently a campus reading specialist in Burleson ISD. Next on the horizon is a a principal certification.
