Cynthia Gonzales Garcia

After my parents split up my sophmore year at WMHS I went to South Texas and lived with my wonderful grandmother that helped me finish HS at Orange Grove HS. BIG difference from WMHS, OG was a tiny HS! Anyways, I made a lot of new friends and after graduating in 89' I came back north to Bedford, TX to help my mom out because she had cancer so I worked at DFW for American Airlines as a reservation rep and worked here and there to help my mom since my little sister Dela was still in school at LD Bell.

Working for AA I was able to travel and had fun doing that! I even went to nursing school and I've worked for Baylor Hospital in Grapevine for a Doctor and did Phlebotomy at one point also, and worked at UPS at DFW Airport.

I finally got an awesome job as a Bilingual Aide at FWISD and worked at the elementary level until 1995 when my oldest daughter, Chassidy was diagnosed with Leukemia! She is fine now and is a Senior this year! I resigned at that time to spend time taking care of her!!! That was a very difficult time in my life and in 1996 I married my current husband, Jesse, with 3 kids and we have been together ever since! I was very fortunate to find someone to love me and my children!

I have another daughter Molly, my oldest son, Chris, middle son,Jordan and the baby of the family is DJ. My children are my everything and I am so proud of each and everyone of them!

Now, actually since 2000 I finally left the workforce to focus on spending time with my children--I didn't want to be like my mom & dad!! I'm a stay at home BUSY mom and I LOVE SPORTS and being with our friends and their families!
