I graduated with a degree in nursing in 2003. I married my husband Damon in 2005. We built our house in 2006 and had our beautiful baby girl in 2007! We live and breathe the medical world in our household.
I love being a nurse! I did post-surgical nursing for 5 years and now I am a clinical liaison. Still nursing just the business side of it. I market a long term acute care facility in dallas. I miss the bedside nursing, but I love doing this too. I get to meet with doctors, nurses, social workers, etc. Also, I do a lot of events, mixers, and dinners (that's the fun part:) I needed a change after staying home with my daughter for 18 months and this was it! I like the hustle and bustle of dallas marketing....very challenging. My husband does the same thing for another company, but he is the "super star". Tough to admit it...yes...we are both very competitive. Between the two of us Isabelle better play some kind of sport! (God I hope so anyway:)
We are only having one child. That was always our plan. We like to travel and I imagine it would be way stressfull with more than one! Plus, I can spoil her more:) I know I'm in for it, she already wears my high heels around the house! I always knew I would love being a mom, but I never imagined it would be this great!!!
WOW..... 10 years....that is crazy!!! It feels like it though. I have definitely grown up, but I still love to play:)
