i went to metuchen high..with i think like 15 others from our class. i would not call my 4 years there fun or the time of my life..i try to block most of those 4 years out. after high school i went to the fashion institute of technology in new york then went to the school Esmod in Paris France. I worked at Dior, and other places in france in the fashion industry, then moved home, i designed for about every store in the mall, express, the limited, victorias secret, macys, sears, cignal, ann taylor..etc. after 2 years designing in new york i left the fashion industry for costume design..the first show i designed was Joseph and his amazing technicolor dreamcoat, the show was performed in the st. francis CYO of all places. after years of working as a costume designer(early on I designed a play with Dawn Lanoue in it) working on broadway on the shows mamma mia, into the woods, one mo' time, the crucible, shrek, the dead, hedda gabbler, dirty blonde..and others..after 9-11 and the sudden death of my father i felt lost and decided to slow down and moved to maine...the whole family moved here..my sister, my brother, my mother..we found a closed restaurant int he town we moved into and bought it and opened it 6 months later after renovating it..we named it Ralph's cafe after my late father. i continued to design shows off broadway and in regional theater..and now teach at the university of maine...
