The Victor Drayton & Octavis Pruitt Scholarship Fund

In memory of our fallen classmates, Victor Drayton and Octavis Pruitt, the Miami Northwestern Class of 2005, Inc. drafted a resolution naming a book scholarship in their honor

The scholarship is hereby named the Miami Northwestern Class of 2005 “Victor Drayton & Octavis Pruitt Book Scholarship” and will be awarded to a graduating senior of Miami Northwestern Senior High School. The scholarship will be in the amount of $250.

It is the intentions of this entity to award this scholarship next school year to a graduating senior of the Miami Northwestern Senior High School Class of 2011.

Qualifications are as follows:

·         Must be a graduating senior of Miami Northwestern Senior High School Class of 2011

·         Accepted to a college or university

·         Have at least at 2.5 GPA

·         No more than three unexcused absences

·         A minimum of 50 Community Service hours

·         Write a one page summary as to why you think you are the best candidate for this honor
