I remember so many fun times at the Schaffer house. Her parents had been through Hell, but we're living, and just adorable; especially Paul. Jay was sarcastic, but Ellen always had him beat, and was so funny, with her enormous, contagious smile. We sadly, didn't keep in touch as adults, but I thought about her often, and always smiled when I saw something about Ellen Minnix on FB. I hope she had a great life. I didn't smile when I saw she'd passed. R.I.P., Ellen. Shine up the skies with your smile. ??

In my 72 years, I've known a lot of good people, who have touched my life, and remained in my heart. No one held a greater piece of my heart than Brian Newsholme. I always joked that Brian was so good, my parents liked him more than they did me. I know that his loss must be tremendously difficult, and tragic for his family, but honestly, a world without Brian Newsholme is a less kind, and much sadder place. Blessings to Kim, and the family. Rest in peace, Brian.
