Dan Beaman

I went to U of MN in 90-91 and then transfered to UW. I almost graduated with a BA in History & English and then switched to Elementary Ed. So after seven years, I graduated and went into teaching. While in college I met my wife Amy and we got married right out of college. We moved all over and finally settled into a house in the country south of McFarland. We have a son named Andy who is now six. It has been such a joy being his dad and at the same time it is bittersweet watching him grow up. I am currently an elementary teacher in Madison and an adjunct professor for teacher education for Concordia University.

I think my favorite was sneaking out of Ms. Witte's room with Nate Cormier almost everyday and hanging out on the roof. One day, Jon Tanner shut the window on us and we had to run across the roof to get down. Strickland was waiting for us and I almost didn't go to the graduation ceremony. Funny that I am a teacher now......
