School Story:
I graduated in 1999. "Played" one year on the freshman football team, two years on the JV baseball team, two years on the varsity tennis team, and one year of indoor track. I was also part of the stage crew for the 1998 production of Grease.
I graduated from JMU in 2003 and have since travelled quite a bit. I've lived in Hawaii, North Carolina, Tennessee, Maryland, and Colorado, but ultimately work and family brought me back to Virginia. I am a data analyst at UVA and became an avid endurance athlete starting in 2004. I have since completed an Ironman, qualified for the Boston Marathon, and completed over 170 marathons and ultramarathons. But, in recent years I've cut back and have gotten more into the photography side of athletic events. I have also gotten into film and was most notably in the 2022 Universal Pictures movie, The Black Phone.
