Shally Harding Sorensen

I attended Dixie College, then graduated in Elementary Ed from USU. I taught for 2 years before meeting my husband while vacationing in Honolulu, Hawaii. He became a professional baseball player shortly after we met. We were then married in the Hawaii temple in 1998. We have lived all over the country following his dream, and loved every minute! We had 4 kids in just under 5 years, and decided it was time to settle down a bit. :) We now live in St. George, and I homeschool my oldest son, who is six, and my 3 year old girls. I am an adoptive mom, and infertility "survivor" and mommy to twins. (whew!).

I also feel really old even TALKING about a 20 year reunion-- where has the time gone?? :)

I remember...

*Husky Howls
*Getting caught sluffing and being chased by the
Hall monitors in their car and then on foot when
we returned. Mrs Hatfield was so nice :).
*Driving poor Mr. Johnson crazy in math class.
*Dancing on wet football fields.
*Throwing up in the bushes during track practice
(eeww).
*Cramming to get those darn Honors social
studies packets for Mrs Brinton done. Those
were so dang long!
*6 am Drill Team practice- even in the summer!
*Production art class-- so fun.
*Being called a "Prancing Pony" by Mr.
Ekberg in biology.
*Using a lot of hairspray to make my bangs as tall
as possible, along with my PERMED hair. (nice)
*LAUGHING A LOT!!
