Dave Van Dam, 64, died of natural causes on October 3, 2022, at home. He was born on December 18, 1957, in Salt Lake City. He was son to Jerrold Van Dam and Joan (Greathouse) Van Dam.

Dave graduated from the University of Utah in 1986, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Following graduation, he married the love of his life Debra Stone on June 20, 1986. They celebrated 36 years of marriage. Dave worked as a nurse for 25 years, in the psych unit. He retired to be a stay-at-home Grandpa.

He leaves behind his wife Debra Stone of Midvale, daughter Jessica Van Dam of Midvale, son Jacob Van Dam of Midvale, granddaughter Alice Van Dam of Midvale, sister Kristine Wilkes and her husband Ron Wilkes of Sandy, sister Karen Goff and husband Dennis Goff of Murray, sister Anna Coturri and husband Wayne of Cottonwood Heights, and many nieces and nephews.

We will hold a celebration of life at a later time.
