After graduating from Augustana College with an English major and minors in history and religion, I spent a year teaching high school English in Japan. I had many great adventures there, most of which involved seafood and making a complete fool of myself.
I moved to the Twin Cities in 2003 and started a very small company named Green Couch Cards. I also worked for 4 years as a copy editor for Marshall Field's/Macy's, until they closed down their HQ and booted us all out. I now work for a global HR consulting firm as an assessment report editor, where I manage the workflow for our office in Abu Dhabi.
At the moment I live alone in NE Minneapolis and love it. I've been trying my hand at various writing projects and hope to actually finish one soon!
