University of South Carolina grad (1973) Lettered for the Gamecocks in football in 69,70,&71. Degree in Journalism. Real Estate Development and Management since 1973. Owner and President of Boyd Management Company in Columbia. Own and/or manage 15,000 units in the Southeast. Developed several large housing subdivisions,a golf course community in the mountains of North Carolina, and several commercial properties. Also developed "Cocks Corner", 170 space condo parking facility near Carolina Stadium. I continue to be very active in my work and I have a horse farm in Camden, S.C. where I spend my off time working the farm.
