Which Elementary School did you attend? Any good stories to share?

I attended West End Elementary School. I had many good and fond memories of my days at West End Elementary School. I met and made a lot of close friends along the way, throughout my stay at West End Elementary School. I also had some "great" teachers during my days at West End. One Teacher, in particular, stood out as my favorite Teacher --- and that was Mrs. Walden, my 7th Grade Math Teacher. Coincidentally, I also had her husband, Major Walden, as my "Trigonometry" (Math IV) Professor during my Senior Year at G.M.C. He, too, was a "great" and very smart Math Teacher!! One of my fondest memories while I was a student at West End was when I played "Midget Football" through the Baldwin Co. Recreational Dept. It was my first experience playing an "organized" sport, and I loved it!! It was through "Football" that I was able to meet many student-athletes from other local elementary schools , such schools as --- Peabody, Midway and City Elementary Schools. All of us players, in the Midget Football Program, seemed to have shared a sense of "camaraderie" amongst each other --- and that was "very special" to me.

Tell us about an accomplishment of which you are proud:

I am "very-proud" and feel "Honored" to have graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology!! Also, one of my greatest accomplisments was having worked as a "Behavior Specialist" (i,e., A Master's Level Psychologist) at Central State Hospital's Forensic Services Division (The Binion Bldg., which was considered the Hospital for the "Criminally Insane") for many years. I also worked as a "Senior Counselor" at the Georgia Department of Corrections (In the "Mental Health Unit" of the Prison System) for several years.

What 1 thing would you like to do or accomplish before our 50th Reunion?

Get married!!

What do you do for fun?

I love to play competitive tennis, and recreational softball. I used to play for many years at a local Church Softball League, and I am currently playing tennis for a local Tennis League Team. I also love to swim, dance and travel to exotic destinations. I love to go to the beaches and mountains.
