I have very fond memories of my days as a cadet at GMC......military school experience was invaluable! I especially enjoyed marching in the May Parades, dressed in whites, at Davenport Field. It was also a privilege for me to be a member of the first high school drill team in 69. We were the trailblazers and pioneers for other cadets who competed in drill meets as well. The biggest thrill for me as a cadet was when I won 3rd place in the Annual Battalion Individual Knockout Drill Competition during my Junior year! I am also a University of Georgia graduate and and an avid Bulldog fan.......a true Bulldog at heart (GMC & UGA)!

I have been living in the beautiful, historical city of Savannah since 1981. I am still teaching in the Chatham County School System and making a difference for our young students. I love the beach and the marshes and the seafood. I even march on the St. Patrick's Day Parade. There is no place like Savannah on St. Patty's Day! I still come up to Milledgeville to visit my twin brother, Mario, and friends......it is a nice getaway from the big city. I am married to my loving wife, Nancy. I am looking forward to getting reacquainted with fellow GMC and Baldwin High School classmates and friends......Class of 70!

I attended West End Elementary School, 6th and 7th grade. I made some good and special friends, there, and I remember playing Midget Football during those two years, and we practiced every afternoon at West End Field. I always looked forward to suiting up with our practice uniforms after school and then scrimmage and play football. It was the first time I ever played organized football, and I really enjoyed it.

My greatest accomplishment would have to be the fact that I have lasted this long in the field of Education.......I have been teaching for nearly 30 years, and I am still hanging in there! I still enjoy helping and working with kids. That is something to be proud of, in this day and age.

Mario and I visited Spain, France, Switzerland, and Italy after graduating college from UGA, and we learned there was a bomb threat on our return flight to USA from Rome, Italy. The delay lasted several hours. It was nerve-racking at first, but we made it back safely to good ol' USA! Overall, we had fun and the travel was quite educational, but you always look forward to returning back home.

Retire in good health.........volunteer in tutoring kids. I would also like to take time to travel more in USA and meet new people.

Take nice, long walks at the beach and swim and go to Riverstreet in Savannah. I also enjoy playing tennis.......I used to play competitive tennis for the Savannah City League, but I just play for enjoyment, nowadays. I also love to go to Athens and watch the Dawgs play "Between the Hedges" each year. I still love to listen to "Oldie Goldies" music, and I like to get on the car with my wife, Nancy, and drive to Hilton Head or Beaufort or Charleston or St. Simons/Jekyll Island in Brunswick for a nice getaway. We also enjoy our pets, two cats and a dog.
