Mary Jurkiewicz Batzner

Graduated from high school on to UWM. Graduated from UWM with communications degree in 1982, right at the height of the recession. Ending up joining Boston Stores executive training program,(my coop job) and became an assistant buyer and sales manager. Got married to Jerry Batzner in 1983. We connected at the UPDOWN LOUNGE, remember that? lol Joined his business as training director and worked until our second daughter was born.

I still feel like I'm 17. Keep waiting for when my doorbell rings, that someone will say to ME, "is your mom home?."

On April 30, 1997 I was diagnosed with cancer. The most life changing experience I ever had. I'm still in remission. It taught me to slow down, don't sweat the hard stuff and take things one day at a time.

I'd really love to visit Australia!
