Whoa, what a life. Via the USAF travelled pretty much around the world from 83 thru 97, living in Europe for four of the fourteen years, returning in 1997 to Milwaukee. Started a wooden boat shop, went on to become a professional sailing and powerboat instructor, nationally certified as an instructor and evaluator for the congressionally chartered sailing governing body, US Sailing. Graduated from UWSP as a forester, currently a consulting forester during the non-sailing season. I live on my very old 29ft sailboat in Milwaukee during the summer months, as the head instructor at the Milwaukee Community Sailing Center. I start a PhD forestry program this fall (09/2008) at UW Madison, at least until my funding dries up..
