William Hencke

Have been in the bicycle industry since high school. Married in 1972 to Holly and owned West Bend Cyclery in West Bend, WI from '72 to '79. Moved to California in '79. Started a bicycle wheel assembly business in '84 and currently ship wheels across the US. I'm semi-retired and my son Andy manages the business. Hobbies include flying my Cessna 182 ( Skylane) around the country and building street rods. I have a 1934 Ford roadster that we drive and show.
I have two grand kids with my son Bill Jr. who is a firefighter with the city of Santa Ana. My son Matt is a captain in the Air Force and is married and lives currently in northern California.

Since we moved to California we don't get back to Milwaukee too often. My mom still lives there as well as my oldest brother.

Wanted to be a radio DJ. Did that for two years, based on that talent or lack of that's why I'm in the bicycle industry!

Married Holly. Had three wonderful sons that have grown and become successful. Owned several successful businesses. Am still alive to enjoy life.
