I was an elementary school teacher for 2 years after graduating from UWM. I have been working in the insurance industry in various positions since 1976. I am a member of Badger Trails, Inc. which is an organization that sponsors 3 hikes each year. My wide and I belong to a bible study group which meets weekly. I enjoy travel, camping, music, golf, dartball and riding my moped.
My fondest memories of Washington High School include playing trombone in the marching band, concert band, stage band, and orchestra.
I reside in Wauwatosa.
I thought that I would be either a forest ranger or a draftsman, but I did not pursue either of those careers.
I would like to travel across Wisconsin by moped.
We went to Norway in 2002, saw the country, and met my wife's aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. I was able to visit the area in Norway where my ancestors came from before moving to Wisconsin in 1846. I also went to Tanzania, Africa in 2013 for my daughter's wedding. Went to Mt. Kilimanjaro and Zanzibar while on that trip.

I knew Ron Neumer since our days at Hi-Mount School (also at Steuben and Washington). We used to ice skate at Washington Park. I broke my leg ice skating there in February of 1963. It was Ron who came to my aid when this happened. He ran to my house and told my mom what happened. By then I was in an ambulance on my way to the hospital. My mom had to take the bus to the hospital as my dad was working and we only had one car.
Ron was there for me when I needed help. I will always remember him.
Can anyone tell me when he died or if there was a death notice in the paper?
Thank-you.
