Living directly across the street from me in Milwaukee, and being in the same grade at school, Wally became my best friend. We did everything together. He supported my interest in performing magic and assisted me in moving my equipment around and to performances and even, sometimes, onstage. His sister, Susan, became one of my assistants and accompanied me to many shows. When I was married, in 1974, Wally was by my side as my best man. We both attended college in Wisconsin, but I in Milwaukee and Wally in LaCrosse. When I began spending summers in northern Wisconsin as an entertainer at a resort, Walter helped me move the show (again!) and would come up for visits. Although I did visit him in LaCrosse back then I never saw him in Billings although he did drop in on me in Milwaukee years ago. I had come to look forward to his cheery holiday letters that always found their way to me. My condolences to Becky and his family.

I vividly recall Joan's smile and laugh.  I am so sorry for your loss, Tom.
