Was a stay at home mom until 1970 when I went to work for Milwaukee County. During that time, I worked with an elderly health care program; scheduled surgeries at the old County Hospital; calendared divorces for the judges in Family Court; helped develope the Jury Management; and in 1980, became the office manager for the Sheriff's Dept. at the County Institutions Grounds. This gave me the oppportunity to work with the commander of the SWAT Team and the Bomb Squad, in addition to maintaining all the office functions for our compliment of 54 employees, both sworn and civilian. In 1991 I moved on to the Milwaukee County Clerk's office from which I retired in 1995. My husband also retired from Milwaukee County in 2004 after 31 years as a supervisor for the Dept. of Health and Human Services. Now we enjoy traveling, spending time with our two grandchildren (Jason 24 and his little sister Lyndsey 5), and each other just doing whatever we please. Life is good.
